About Baer Landscaping
Our Story
Hi! My name is Shane! Here is a little background about the company.
Baer landscaping began in November 2020, but the roots of the business go back much further. After my wife and I purchased our first home in Sullivan County, the previous owner left us with a beautifully maintained lawn, mature shrubs, and a well-designed landscape. I became determined to keep it looking great- and in the process, I discovered how much i truly enjoyed caring for outdoor spaces.
What started as a hobby grew into a passion, and soon I began helping neighbors with small maintenance jobs, leaf cleanups, and pulling barberry bushes. From there, Baer landscaping expanded into design, build, and maintenance services, including lawn care, planting, hardscapes, retaining walls, site work ,commercial snow and ice management, and four season maintenance servcies.
Before landscaping, I worked in Insurance sales and marketing, but my work ethic comes from growing up in Aroostook county, Maine. I spent harvest seasons from the ages 7-13 picking rocks and potatoes in the fields. Hardwork, reliability, and doing things the right way were instilled in me early and those values built the foundation of this company.
